Kitchenaid Food Processor.

Black & Decker FP1600B 8-Cup Food Processor, Black
Perfectly slice, chop, mince, mix and shred your favorite foods with the durable stainless steel chopping blade or the slice and shredder disk.
Equipped with a powerful 450-watt motor, this exceptionally convenient food processor makes fast, easy work of a variety of food-prep tasks. Use it to slice, dice, chop, mince, grate, or puree just about anything. The appliance comes equipped with a large 8-cup-capacity work bowl that offers a generous handle and a continuous-flow feed chute with a pusher that accommodates onions (no more tearful chopping), green peppers, zucchini, mushrooms, cheese, basil, strawberries, and other fresh ingredients, whether making soup, homemade pizza, pesto, or a fruity dessert topping to pour over ice cream. Switch out the stainless-steel chopping blade for the reversible stainless-steel slicing and shredding disk, depending on the task at hand. Two soft-touch buttons--on and off/pulse--ensure simple operation. Other highlights include a safety interlock system for peace of mind, heavy-duty suction-cup feet to keep the machine in place during operation, cord storage, and dishwasher-safe removable parts for quick cleanup. Sleek and sturdy, the food processor measures 11-2/7 by 7-4/5 by 15-2/3 inches.

Good, but could have been better
I would have given this food processore 5 stars if it were not for two things:

1- They put a very sticky sticker on the blade warning you that it is sharp. The sticker is so hard to remove that you nearly amputate all of your fingers getting it off. (thanks again to all you attorneys out there who constantly create situations like this)

2- There is a small space behind the inlet shoot that jams with food and it is sometime hard to get it out. I use a butter knife. Other than this it is very easy to clean.

The unit is powerful and has done everything I needed it to.

Cuisinart DLC-10S Pro Classic 7-Cup Food Processor
A perfect gift for new homemakers, the food processor has become an integral part of modern cooking, speeding up a multitude of processes, including kneading dough, slicing, chopping, shredding cheese, vegetables and meat, mincing garlic and parsley, mixing batters, and emulsifying mayonnaise. Cuisinart's Pro Classic comes with a 7-cup work bowl, four basic attachments for slicing, shredding, chopping, mixing, and kneading, and large feed tube. This processor comes with a compact cover for use when the feed tube isn't needed and a pulse control that allows the desired degree of fineness when chopping and puréeing. Remove the detachable stem for compact storage of discs. All the parts are dishwasher-safe and the motor base wipes clean. In addition, a custom-contoured spatula, a 50-page recipe booklet, and a 30-minute video designed to familiarize the new owner with the care and use of the food processor are included. --Victoria Jenkins

Professional power and versatility are at your fingertips, thanks to the experts at Cuisinart. The handy Pro Classic Food Processor slices whole fruits and vegetables, kneads bread dough and minces garlic with amazing ease. The 7-cup work bowl is heat-resistant, cold-resistant and shatterproof. Features extra-large feed tube, stainless steel medium (4 mm) slicing disc and shredding disc. Also includes chopping and dough blades. Exclusive how-to video offers tips and techniques. Easy to clean, with dishwasher-safe parts.

Useful for a number of chores in the kitchen
While I usually chop on a plastic cutting board with a big chef's knife, the Cuisinart makes several tasks a lot easier. Chopping cooked or raw meat is one. If you are making hash from leftover corned beef, a short burst in this food processor is the easiest way to go. For mixing certain pastry doughs (pie or pate brisee) this is also a very good item to have, although you have to be careful to go slowly and not overprocess. The one thing the Cuisinart does is heat up the dough if you whirl it around too much, so you have to be careful. And if you put too heavy a bread dough in, using the plastic bread blade, you can heat the shaft up enough to jam the blade onto the central post and that's a big nuisance. However, with these cautions, the Cuisinart is hands-down my favorite food processor and for shredding, slicing thinly or chopping, pretty much the best kitchen appliance for the job.

Cuisinart DLC-8S Pro Custom 11-Cup Food Processor, White
Versatile and powerful all-white food processor, can also be used to knead bread dough. 11-cup capacity. Large feeding tube for slicing whole fruits and vegetables and a smaller feeding tube for smaller portions. Ideal for fine chopping, mincing and slicing, has the power to knead 3 pounds of bread dough in less than two minutes. Includes thin stainless steel slicing disc (2mm), medium stainless steel slicing disc (4mm), stainless steel shredding disc (4mm), chopping blade and dough blade. Compact cover and how-to video included. 11in deep x 7in wide x 14in high. Limited three-year warranty. Care instructions: Removable, dishwasher safe parts. Imported

Best of the food processors
I owned this machine for over 25 years and it was wonderful -- did everything. It finally hit the bricks -- I immediately purchased another one -- enough said?

Love this food processor
This is a utilitarian product that consistantly does a good job. It's reliable and has exactly what you need for every occasion. I'm a Cuisinart buyer for life.

Seems perfect for now
I ordered this laptop on Thursday and just in 1 day, it was delivered in a perfect condition. Didn't have the chance to see every feature, but I can say that I loved this PC at first sight.. Looks so solid, not like some others giving you a feeling that they will break down if you don't be very careful. Only problem for now seems to be the touch pad. I can say that its little bit sticky, hard to move the cursor precisely.. Also, left and right click buttons are really hard to press. Clicking means really clicking for this laptop !!! Don't hesitate to buy, perfect item for its price. But make sure you order a nice mice too..

Now, after using the PC for a few days, I m happy to see that the touch pad buttons are getting easier to press. Finger print reader and Hp Simple Pass application that allows you to use your fingerprint instead of entering usernames and passwords works very well. Swipe your finger once and all the websites you enrolled in fingerprint system shows up. Swipe it once more, you are logged on in seconds. No Username No Password..

What a deal
If you have looked on line you have found similar products for $1100 to $1500 for custom headrests etc. After reading the reviews on this product I decided to give it a go... thinking I could always return the product if it didn't work out.

My concerns prior to purchase:
1. How does one headrest fit every vehicle?
Answer: the location of the mounting bars slide in and out to fit any vahicle (no tools required)... not a problem for my ford explorer.

2. How can it be a quality product at this price?
Answer: it seems to be quality and the features are great... the remotes are not well made (cheap plastic) and the controls are not as good as they could be, but if you were able to navigate the internet to see this posting you can figure it out.

3. Some reviewers say they had it profesionally installed, othes say they did it themselves... will I have to pay someone to install them?
Answer: if you can fish 2 wires through a seat with a coathanger, and attach a red wire to positive, and a black wire to ground, and plug a yellow, red, and white RCA connector together, you can do it yourself.

Summary:

If you are looking for a basic DVD player that plays every type of DVD from DIVX to CD to DVD etc. and you are not concerned with the leather matching exactly to your car, or having HDMI or component (composite RCA only), you can save a bundle with this product and do it yourself.

Good luck!

The new HP TouchPad is designed to work like you. Letting you connect, play, surf, and share more easily. No barriers. No complications. Just a seamless flow from one thing to the next. TouchPad. There's nothing like it.

From a dedicated apple fan... This IS a good device
I'm an admitted mac guy, I have the iPhone 4, iPad, Macbook Pro, etc...

I have to share my support now with the HP TouchPad. The webOS 3.0 is really pretty amazing. I didn't think it would make much of a difference in the use of a tablet, but it's outstanding, and here's why:

1) The integration of so many mainstream services used today. (they probably have some fancy term for this concept)
2) Flash plays well
3) Services missing on the iPad like Grooveshark and Amazon's cloud music all work.

First, the services:
On my TouchPad, I setup my
Email (yahoo, google, and microsoft exchange)
Skype
Dropbox
AIM
LinkedIn
Facebook
(there were others, but I don't use snapfish, and photobucket, etc... even a "find others")

I love this integration of all these mainstream services! It's really clever.

While my iPad seems very app-centric, webOS 3.0 feels more like "the matrix has you". It takes your online world and puts it into the tablet. I love that. All of those websites I often interact with get glued together seamlessly so I feel like I'm "jacked in".

A major strength of the TouchPad is the web functionality that won't work on the iPad. For example, I ran Amazon's cloud music player and Grooveshark just fine (awesome!).

On the down side, the apps are slim, but trust me, they will be coming fast and furious over the next year, like a modern-age gold rush. As someone who has ported over my C++ game engine and product ( atPeace ) to TouchPad from IOS, I can tell you that it was pretty easy, and others will certainly follow. This version 1 of the product is the closest any tablet is to competing with Apple, developers will soon be pouring over.

My only real gripe is not having NetFlix working with it yet. That's coming I'm sure, but something I use on my iPad a lot, and I miss. :(

All in all, I'd say if you want something for business, or to have a tablet built around your online presence, or just a good tablet which can run flash, this might be for you. I still love my iPad, don't get me wrong, but for a long time I didn't see why anyone was realistically imagining they could compete with the iPad. I mean, Apple does it sooooo well. Well, now I understand why. WebOS 3.0.

Don't discount this device, it's got great potential. We finally a good competitor for Apple in the tablet world, which should make both products improve.

Dazzling LED picture quality? Check. Nearly unlimited entertainment and apps straight from the Internet to your TV with Smart TV? Affirmative. Perfect for fast action and sports with TruMotion 120Hz? Oh yeah. If you're looking for an outstanding TV that's going to take your entertainment to the next level, you've found it with the LV5400

Best TV of anyone I know
I was initially skeptical about purchasing this TV from Sam's Club because they were only selling 9 of them - and not removing any from the boxes to display. In other words, I bought this TV on blind faith and the strong recommendation from the store associate. And I'm extremely glad I took his advice.

The picture on this TV is brilliant in High Def. It's very bright, crystal clear, and truly beautiful. It literally has the best picture of any TV I shopped for, including the Sony's and Samsung's. My grandfather watched the NCAA basketball tournament with me last year and during every commercial he would remark, "LG: Life's Good" because we were enjoying ourselves so much watching the games on the TV (with a Bose 321 home theater system attached). Even several months later, I still love watching HD football and NASCAR races on it. It just doesn't get any better with the superb LED-LCD picture quality.

Lately I have been getting a lot of use out of the USB input slots, too. I've started recording a lot of HD videos with new Flip Mino and Kodak Zi10 HD cameras over the past month and both of those cameras have a USB output on them. Well, all I have to do is plug them directly into the side of this TV and my newly recorded videos automatically start playing in HD. No more burning DVDs or complicated transferring of media from one device to the other. This TV is simply plug and play.

Switching between inputs is easy, even with the universal cable remote that I use with the TV. I have 2 HDMI cables, standard coax, standard video, and fiber optic audio cables all plugged in and had no problems with setup or use.

The TV is surprising flat and lightweight too.

The bottom line is that this is the best TV of any of my friends and family. It's the best picture you can get, outside of some hugely expensive 3-D setup. And using a small Bose 321 home theater system (with just 2 speakers) is perfect for my living room viewing experience. No problems or issues at all. Can't recommend this TV at this price high enough. Easy worth double.

Expectations Run High
When you spend $1500 on a piece of technology you have certain assumptions and expectations about it. You do your research the best you can and hope that your purchase will be everything you hoped it would be. Occasionally, you are thrown for a loop and presented with some challenges that you didn't anticipate. That's what happened to me when I picked up this excellent TV. My old Sony LCD did not have HDMI ports, so I was relegated to the spaghetti bowl of component hookups to achieve high definition. I just had to have a TV with HDMI, so when I was finally in the market I knew it would have to be at least 46", LCD or something comparable, full 1080p, and have plenty of HDMI ports on it. With the exception of one small issue, this TV is everything I wanted.

I must say that the Samsung UN46C6500 LED TV is astonishing to look at. The colors are rich and saturated, black levels are the blackest I've ever seen, and the images are crisp and clear. The screen is a glossy finish, so it does reflect any light you might have in the room, but it's not overly distracting. The panel itself is super thin, only about one inch thick. The stand is very sturdy. Touch sensitive buttons line the lower right hand corner of the panel (kind of hard to see, but they're responsive). The bezel has a brushed matte charcoal grey strip covering a transparent acrylic (very elegant).

The one problem I have with this TV is not listed anywhere except inside the manual. I didn't see any other documentation or warnings about this, so I was a little disappointed when I encountered it. This TV is not compatible with HDMI versions older than 1.3. My old Onkyo receiver (TX-SR604) came with HDMI 1.1, so the TV would not display images through it. I had always thought that HDMI was backwards compatible. It's not on this TV, and the manual clearly says that if you have any components with HDMI versions older than 1.3 you may have issues with sound and video. Beware.

Because I was so disappointed that I would not be able to use HDMI through my receiver, I decided to upgrade to the Denon AVR-791 (which supports HDMI 1.4 and is 3D ready). Even though I'm another $500 poorer, I'm an extremely happy camper. Watching Avatar on blu-ray with this setup is truly amazing. The TV performs wonderfully and is otherwise exactly what I was wanting. I have not ventured into the internet TV features, but that's on the horizon. Unfortunately, the TV is not wifi compatible (unless you buy a USB adapter), so you'll need to use an ethernet cable (I actually knew this before buying).

Samsung makes incredible LCD and LED TV's. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a high definition viewing experience. Hopefully, my review will educate and warn those with older components. HDMI is the way to go, but you can always fall back on component cables if you have to. That just wasn't an option for me. When all is said and done, I don't regret my purchase at all. The end result was well worth the journey.

Toshiba Thrive 10.1-Inch 32 GB Android Tablet AT105-T1032 Black
Introducing the Thrive Tablet by Toshiba, powered by Android 3.1 (Honeycomb), offering a better way to browse the web, enjoy e-books and HD videos, play games, listen to music and more. Complete, convenient and customizable, it's everything a tablet can and should be, with a gorgeous 10.1-inch diagonal high-res multi-touch widescreen display, features you can personalize and speedy performance so you can multitask your way through your digital life (and favorite entertainment) with ease.

Super Innovative, Best tablet yet!
I've had the 16gb Thrive for 3 days now. The Thrive is in my opinion the best tablet available. The things that set it apart from other tablets are: Removable battery, Full size HDMI port, Full size USB 2.0 port as well as a mini USB port. All on board with no dock or adapters necessary. You can take your SD card right out of your camera and plug it in to the Thrive ( Handles up to 128 GB SDXC, what?!!) . Toshiba was smart enough to include a file manager that makes it super easy to move data or media between the tablet and SD card or external hard drive, etc. Running Honeycomb 3.1 right out of the box as well. The wifi is the best I have seen, better than any device in my house and I have a lot. Tethers to my Android phone with no problem. The audio is the best I have heard on a tablet.Toshiba worked with SRS and it shows. (One note, the default volume levels are low. Go into settings and adjust right away) The screen is better than the Xoom but not quite as good as the Samsung (in my opinion) and it seems to do better with higher quality and higher resolution content. Looks phenomenal when viewing pictures from my Canon Digital with an L lens. Color accuracy is excellent, not just oversaturated like some other tablets.

The screen response is great. Ran a multitouch test and it recognizes 4 separate touch points simultaneously. 2mp front camera and 5 MP back camera are both very good with good lighting. All in all this tablet offers more interoperabilty than anything on the market. It charges really fast, 90% in 90 minutes. Very, very happy with my decision to go with the Thrive. I had considered the Asus but with the horrific build quality issues and lightbleed I decided against it. I am so glad I waited because Toshiba got it right, right out of the box! This thing is solid! No creaking or flex. No loose bezel. Zero lightbleed. A tablet is the sum of all its parts and in the words of Charlie Sheen, #Winning!

Update: 14 hrs today on the battery with fairly heavy surfing and some music and video. The battery gave me 6-7 hrs the first few charges. Wow, I didn't think it would improve this much! Really happy with the Thrive!
